Strategic Deterrence Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Deterrence Analyst to join our team at Constellation West. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of deterrence strategies and plans for the U.S. government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory and assistance services to maintain Deterrence Analysis and Planning Support
- Refine Deterrence Analysis Methodology and develop Global Analysis and Research capabilities
- Support USSTRATCOM experimentation and war gaming efforts
- Conduct scenario-based Decision Calculus Planning Analyses and Deterrence Impact Analyses
- Develop and create tools to effectively display visualizations of scenarios
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of academic experience in US defense policy, strategy, or plans
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in deterrence theory, deterrence models, and deterrence strategy
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in historical US deterrence strategies, models, and their defining characteristics
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in game theory
- Knowledge of strategic military strategy, planning, operations, and nuclear enterprise
- Knowledge of the current strategic threat environment
Education: Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, STEM, or a related national security degree is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree is required.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI eligibility is required.
