Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper setup, operation, and cleaning.
  • Scrape and sanitize food service and preparation ware, storing it in designated areas.
  • Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before removal from the dish room.
  • Take out trash and maintain a clean and dry floor.
  • Practice proper food handling procedures and separate ware for proper storage.
  • Maintain equipment quality through preventative maintenance and cleaning.
  • Assist with loading and unloading miscellaneous equipment and maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and state and federal liquor laws.
  • Maintain company safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure complete and proper checkout procedures.
  • Record and report any equipment failure or safety hazards to management.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Possession of or ability to possess all state required work cards.
  • Proper lifting techniques.
  • Guest relations.
  • Sanitation and safety.
  • Full service kitchen operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language.

Working Conditions:
  • Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
  • Work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk long periods.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to repeat the same movements for long periods.
  • Ability to understand the speech of another person.
  • Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
