Job Overview

GR Birdwell Construction is seeking a skilled Rodbuster to join our team. As a Rodbuster, you will be responsible for hoisting and placing reinforcing steel, including rebar, wire mesh, and post-tension systems, in accordance with construction documents and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installs rebar for foundations, walls, and columns, including templates, embeds, and anchor bolts.
  • Places reinforcing steel for structural decks, including rebar, wire mesh, and post-tension systems.
  • Installs load transfer dowels and stresses post-tension at required times to meet design criteria.
  • Offloads and packs reinforcing steel to appropriate locations.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
  • Ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
