Job Overview

We are seeking a Cleanliness Specialist to join our housekeeping team at Choice Hotels. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel rooms and public areas. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential.

About the Role

As a Cleanliness Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms. You will also be required to comply with all safety guidelines and regulations. In addition, you may be responsible for shared duties such as delivering beds to guest rooms, replenishing toiletry supplies, and lifting and moving lightweight objects around the room. Our ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

*Cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms to the highest standards;

*Complying with all safety guidelines and regulations;

*Delivering exceptional customer service to guests;

*Working collaboratively with other members of the housekeeping team to achieve common goals;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required;

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential;

  • You must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds;

  • You must be able to stand for long periods and walk between floors;

  • You must be able to work effectively in a team environment;

  • You must have a strong eye for detail and be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene;


Estimated Salary

$38,750 per annum (based on location).
