Job Summary:

The Individual Supports Worker position is a part-time, non-benefitted role located in the Boston area. This position provides direct adult companion care to an individual with brain injuries and other chronic medical and mental health conditions. Support is offered in the community or at the individual's residence, with the goal of maximizing their capacity for personal growth, independence, and community membership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting individuals with setting up and accessing services in the community
  • Transportation to activities and medical appointments
  • Grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and support with daily living tasks at home, as needed
  • Administrative tasks, including daily note submissions and time tracking
