Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our Radiology & Imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
  • Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure and treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards.
  • Complete assigned goals and objectives.
Requirements and Preferences

Education:

  • Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or ARRT (S) or ARRT (VS) or ARRT (BS) or new graduate waiting to take the registry.

Experience:

  • Recent experience as a Ultrasound Technologist preferred.

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

  • Preferred: ARDMS
  • Minimum: NEW GRADUATE WHO WILL OBTAIN REQUIRED REGISTRY WITHIN 120 DAYS OF HIRE; BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE; RVT; ARDMS

Special Skills:

  • Basic computer literacy skills required.
