Bilingual Caseworker

LSI is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Caseworker to provide essential services to refugee families in the Waterloo area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting home studies, facilitating reunification processes, and providing case management services to immigrant populations.

This role requires strong communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work with diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct home studies and assessments for refugee families
• Facilitate reunification processes and provide case management services
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and resources
• Provide interpretation services when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or a related field
• One year of relevant professional experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Ability to travel up to 200 miles, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with immigrant populations and refugee families
• Knowledge of local community social services and resources
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
