The Club Operations Supervisor (COS) is a pivotal leadership position at Fitness Connection, responsible for overseeing a team of 5-20 hourly staff in the absence of the Club Manager. This role encompasses ensuring member satisfaction, driving sales through memberships and retail, managing expenses, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and guiding the team towards operational excellence. If you are enthusiastic about fitness, possess strong leadership qualities, and are eager to motivate both our team and members, we invite you to contribute to our mission of making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development
  • Guide and mentor team members, stepping in for the Club Manager when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Fitness Professionals to elevate their skills and service delivery.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to cultivate a strong team.
  • Promote a collaborative environment that embodies Fitness Connection's core values.
Member Engagement
  • Implement strategies to enhance member and guest satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve member feedback and concerns, upholding high customer service standards.
  • Enhance the overall member experience, ensuring Fitness Connection is a community hub.
  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe club environment for all members and staff.
Sales & Marketing
  • Drive sales of memberships, personal training, and retail products, contributing to club revenue.
  • Work with ACMs and Fitness Professionals to create effective sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on promotions to maximize member engagement and acquisition.
  • Represent Fitness Connection in the community to build relationships and promote our mission.
Operational Management
  • Assist in managing club budgets, scheduling, and inventory for efficient operations.
  • Oversee financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Enforce company policies and standards, along with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work unscheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of management experience, preferably in the fitness sector.
  • Strong skills in recruitment, training, and team development.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and unexpected shifts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stress effectively.
