Job Summary
The Scheduling Operations Supervisor is a healthcare role responsible for overseeing the scheduling and management of Personal Care Services, personal care aides, and homemakers.
Key Responsibilities
Onboard personal care and homemaker staff, ensuring they are familiar with agency policies and procedures. Arrange and document training sessions.
Coordinate staff schedules and inform clients of any changes.
Conduct written assignments of duties tailored to specific clients.
Engage in meetings and educational sessions with staff as necessary.
Receive and review client referrals, following up as needed.
Conduct initial assessments in client homes, assign caregivers, and complete necessary documentation.
Perform supervisory visits to clients' homes at least every three months, or more frequently as required for issue resolution, skills validation of staff, training, observation of client conditions, and assessment of client satisfaction with services.
Ensure at least one assigned personal care staff member is present during supervisory visits at least once every three months per client.
Provide monthly supervision of client care or more frequently based on client needs through phone or other appropriate communications with clients and/or their families/caregivers.
Conduct first-level investigations of complaints and incidents.
Advise staff on challenging cases and potentially hazardous situations.
Collaborate with case managers, physicians, and other providers regarding care plans to ensure effective and appropriate care.
Oversee staff documentation practices.
Participate in relevant client care conferences, staff training meetings, and agency committee meetings.
Maintain confidentiality in all job-related activities.
Uphold, promote, and hold others accountable for the agency's core values, ethics, and mission.
Perform all job functions in compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Participate in an Administrative On-call Rotation.
Assist with client care/shifts as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience as a Personal Care Provider is required.
Home Care supervisory experience is preferred.
Completion of a nursing program is preferred.
Valid, current driver's license.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
