Pharmacy Technician - Float Part Time

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our mental health pharmacy team in a float part-time capacity. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, working closely with our registered pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medical prescriptions and perform necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
  • Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Georgia.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
  • Ability to work between multiple locations, including Rome, GA; Dalton, GA; Marietta, GA; and Fort Oglethorpe, GA, with occasional trips to Douglasville, GA.
