We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Technician II to join our team at UNC Health Care. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services in our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
- Provide clerical support, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, and maintaining medical records.
- Perform routine quality assurance audits, safety checks, and inventory of supplies.
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
- Measure and record vital signs, and patient height and weight.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listing as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience.
UNC Health Care offers a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO hours, which are accrued based on the number of worked hours. We also provide a supportive work atmosphere and are committed to excellent healthcare and collegial interactions.
This is a 36 hours per week position, working 12 hour rotating shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. The successful candidate will be required to attend a week-long orientation, which is offered every two weeks.
