About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Restoration Specialist to join our team at AMEX. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and repair damaged furniture items to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Use advanced woodworking and upholstery techniques to restore furniture to its original condition.
  • Work independently to prioritize and execute daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Accurately report outcomes of work in progress, completed, and past due work.
  • Monitor inventory and order replacement parts and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience in furniture repair and restoration.
  • Advanced understanding of woodworking and upholstery techniques, including color and stain matching, damage/defect repair.
  • Ability to use power and hand tools as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving product 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift.
  • Ability to work on warehouse floor for extended periods.
