Job Description

At CrossMed - Cath Lab, we are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history and procedure notes
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be considered for this travel opportunity, you must have:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
