Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our energetic Orthopaedics team at Monadnock Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our board-certified specialists in delivering exceptional orthopaedic care to our community.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with getting to and from exam rooms, preparing for exams, and during procedures.
  • Assist physicians and physician assistants in examinations, which may include taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information in accordance with established procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as blood draws and collecting laboratory specimens.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, well-stocked, and properly equipped to provide a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Provide exceptional care to patients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, and socioeconomic statuses.
Requirements
  • Maintain certification and registration as a Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
