We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist to support our robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line, which encompasses a full spectrum of care, including outpatient services, inpatient treatment, and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services for both inpatient and consult liaison settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address the behavioral health needs of patients.
- Formulate treatment plans that are behaviorally focused and outcomes-oriented, considering mental health and co-occurring disorders.
- Deliver psychiatric care to patients with complex mental health issues during their medical treatment.
- Lead educational initiatives for staff regarding psychiatric matters.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent international training required.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA.
- Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one.
- Capability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Meet the necessary criteria for credentialing and hospital privileges.
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting weights up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently, adhering to safe patient handling policies.
