Job Title: Certified Nursing Aide

Clarksville Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Aide to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to provide non-professional direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, etc.
  • Prepare residents for meals and snacks, assist residents in eating where needed, and record food intake.
  • Read and follow daily care plans, perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and report changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge.
  • Document care provision on resident records/flowsheets as required and report accidents and incidents.
  • Provide nursing functions as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the State or must within four (4) months of employment have completed state required training and a competency evaluation program.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other associates.
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
Working Conditions:

The Certified Nursing Aide will work in a climate-controlled and well-lighted environment, with occasional exposure to infectious diseases. The successful candidate will be required to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures.
