Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at PCE, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.
  • Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Fabricate metal parts and tools as needed.
  • Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Access and program PLC logic to make repairs.
  • Analyze unique problems and perform evaluations to determine necessary adjustments and repairs.
  • Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs.
  • Train other personnel on troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
  • Construct and assemble new equipment.
  • Perform various building maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.
  • Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches, and verbal instructions.
  • Assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical system repairs.
  • Help install, repair, and rebuild production and building equipment.
  • Recommend new or changed methods and equipment to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a self-directed environment efficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Education/Experience
  • Associate degree in a technical school or 4 years of experience.
  • 7 years of experience with at least 4 years in high volume production/manufacturing facility equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in injection molding maintenance preferred.
