Job Summary:
Collin College is seeking a Program Director Engineering Technology to lead the Engineering Transfer, Computer Science Transfer, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, and Robotics and Automation Technology programs at the Collin Technical Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with SACSCOC standards, and facilitating staffing, budget preparation, and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program growth and development.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of industry partnerships and alliances.
  • Oversee the preparation of accreditation applications and on-site evaluations.
  • Ensure program compliance with college policy and THECB standards.
  • Teach one class per academic year.
  • Assist the Academic Dean in the evaluation of the division, program, curriculum, and student learning outcomes.
  • Manage program budget and ensure fiscal planning and management.
  • Maintain accurate program records and equipment inventories.
  • Foster positive human relations and teamwork among faculty, staff, and students.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in one of the areas of oversight from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of teaching experience in one of the areas of oversight at the high school or college level.
  • Two years of work experience in one of the industries of oversight.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
