The Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact (POC) for the WPAFB client and community. This role is crucial in ensuring that all tasks performed under the Performance Work Statement (PWS) align with established requirements and responsibilities. The PM will hold ultimate accountability for all contract activities and performance, possessing the authority to make and implement decisions regarding contract execution and modifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining a performance-driven organization that leverages best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to deliver exceptional service and significant cost efficiencies.
- Ensuring the client's facility is operated and maintained in a cost-effective, efficient, and exemplary manner.
- Overseeing and guiding the performance of AFPS personnel and their respective departments, addressing issues and conflicts, and fostering open communication with staff, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Guaranteeing that all documentation and deliverables are precise, comprehensive, and submitted punctually.
- Preparing and delivering formal presentations for various contract and corporate business needs.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and trending project expenditures while managing the planning, budgeting, and financial processes.
- Ensuring adherence to training and certification mandates.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is essential.
Candidates must exhibit the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired through training and/or experience to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
A Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, P.E. Certification, or similar advanced credentials are preferred.
Experience in Base Operations Support (BOS) and a managerial role within a government or contracting environment is also necessary.
