Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed behavioral health facility providing psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents. We offer inpatient and outpatient services with locations in Flowood, MS, and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a dynamic Mental Health Technician/Driver to provide patient transportation and continuous observation. This role involves interacting with patients, maintaining safety, and working closely with clinical staff to conduct process and specialty groups.

As a key member of our team, you will perform various duties assisting nurses in the psychiatric and physical treatment of patients. You will also interact with patients in a therapeutic manner, remaining engaged in activities and events throughout the treatment day.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Maintain a valid class-specific driver's license applicable to transporting patients
  • Driving record must meet or exceed facility standards
  • BLS and De-escalation Certification required
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health related field and two years of experience in the mental health field (psychiatric/inpatient or outpatient setting)
