About the Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Texas Tech University. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be expected to establish a strong research program focusing on the impact of nutrition on aging processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a high-impact research program via publications and external funding.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, face-to-face and online.
- Mentor MS and PhD students and assist in recruitment of graduate students.
Requirements:
- Earned doctorate in Neuroscience with experience in nutrition or metabolic health-related research.
- Demonstrated record of effective teaching at the college level, commensurate with rank.
- Demonstrated record of applying for extramural research grants, commensurate with rank.

Texas Tech University is a Carnegie R1 (very high research activity) Doctoral/Research-Extensive institution located in Lubbock, Texas. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
