Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with DispatchHealth Medical Technicians to deliver comprehensive care to patients in their homes.
  • Perform thorough health assessments, diagnose, and treat complex illnesses.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures.
  • Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure quality care.
  • Accurately document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute care settings.
  • Graduate of an accredited institution with an advanced degree.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certified, current.
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
