JOB SUMMARY
Engage in operations within a Sysco warehouse and play a vital role in the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors are responsible for picking orders designated for delivery to foodservice establishments in the local area.

  • Dynamic, physical position that includes operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
  • Organizing and palletizing products to construct customer orders.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work in a safe environment, adapting to areas with varying temperature and humidity based on local weather conditions and the type of products being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
  • Regularly lift products weighing between 10lbs and 75lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 100lbs.
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
  • Consistently bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
  • Stand for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

  • 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
  • 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically demanding job experience.
  • 1 year of selection experience.
  • 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
