Your Role:

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Engage with guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Build relationships with regular patrons to encourage repeat visits.
  • Complete a pour test before each shift, as required.
  • Proactively recommend beverages and menu items to guests.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and drink orders.
  • Organize and prioritize drink orders efficiently.
  • Prepare beverages consistently following standard recipes and venue guidelines.
  • Document any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns in the bar log.
  • Identify guests who may be over-intoxicated and manage service accordingly, notifying a manager when necessary.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service regulations and company policies.
  • Verify identification for patrons appearing under 30 years of age.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards as per company policies.
  • Execute opening, running, and closing duties as outlined in company guidelines.
  • Process guest checks and payments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manage the bartender bank effectively.
  • Conduct cash pulls and check-out processes.
  • Perform appropriate comp and spill checks.
  • Be available to work special events as scheduled.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Valid state or county license or certification in responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Experience in cash handling.
  • Capability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to pass a pour test and mixology drill.
  • Ability to manage intoxicated guests positively and safely.
  • Respect for diverse cultures, music, and art forms.
Preferred:
  • Four years of experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Familiarity with recognizing valid identification.
  • Experience in a live music environment.
Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, often loud, and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and mobility.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper techniques.
