Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Centura St. Anthony Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' bodies. Your expertise will help diagnose medical problems and provide critical information to physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' bodies
  • Follow physician orders to determine which body parts to image and assess images to determine if additional images are needed
  • Work closely with patients to ensure they are prepared and comfortable before and during procedures
  • Take patients' medical histories and answer their questions
  • Position patients for scanning and shield areas of the body that do not need to be examined
  • Keep patients' medical records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and prioritize/multi-task calls
  • May need to lift/move patients, especially those with physical disabilities
Requirements
  • Evidence of current AHA BLS credential
  • One year of current MRI tech experience
  • Graduate of an accredited program for MRI tech/certificate programs/Associate's programs Clinical Internship
