Job Summary

As a skilled Toolmaker at GE Aviation, you will be responsible for the assembly and development of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gages, and manufacturing aides. Your expertise will be utilized to create workable devices from blueprints, rough sketches, or verbal instructions. You will perform layout, development, machining, and other related tasks to ensure successful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and develop jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gages, and manufacturing aides
  • Perform layout, development, machining, and other related tasks
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose operational deficiencies in mechanical fixtures and special machines
  • Maintain records and perform related duties

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a journeyman machinist or toolmaker
  • Ability to take an assessment
