Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at the Tohono O'odham Nation. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate processes and controls and communicate findings with management.
  • Perform operational, financial, and information system audits and prepare audit reports to ensure compliance with required controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field.
  • Three years' work experience in auditing or an equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience.
  • Certification by the Arizona Department of Gaming and/or Licensed by the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
