We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Manager to join our team at By Light Professional IT Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our customers' telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide systems management of customer Telecommunications systems.
- Perform upgrades, system-wide and infrastructure additions, moves, or changes.
- Plan and integrate new technologies, and upgrades/modernization.
- Support systems management tasks, including software configuration and distribution, hardware and component installs, configurations, and maintenance of system components.
- Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patches on all servers and test and verify system is not adversely affected by patch.
- Monitor system logs, security logs, and application logs and report abnormal events.
- Provide local touch labor (troubleshooting, repairing, Factory Reset, firmware updates, etc.).
- Draft and maintain SOP documents for the functional category.
- Perform Daily Service Validations in accordance with customer standing operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Possess a associate's degree or higher.
- Minimum of three years' experience supporting Microsoft server requirements.
- Experienced with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Products.
- Fluent in the spoken and written English language, to include the usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.
- Foundational Personnel Certification: CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CyberSec First Responder (CFR) or CompTIA Cloud+ or Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
