- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless production and minimize disruptions.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in sewing machine maintenance and repair.
- Active Massachusetts 2nd Class fireman's license or above.
- Hands-on maintenance experience with sewing machines and equipment.
- Strong mechanical background and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Technical, vocational, or trade school education is a plus.
- Demonstrated mechanical skills and technical aptitude.
- Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
- Familiarity with various hand and electric tools.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work-related tasks and special projects.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work safely by following all maintenance department's standard operating procedures.
This role requires working in a production warehouse environment with exposure to various climate conditions and under stressful conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
