To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet HHS minimum education and experience requirements. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
You must also meet minimum age, education, background check, and medical qualifications for caregivers established by DFPS Licensing. Complete annual training required by DFPS Licensing and maintain Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
If transporting children, you must have a Class C driver license with a clear Department of Public Safety record and complete two hours of transportation training annually.
