About the JobAs a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic problems. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care and support. This may involve collaborating with specialists, obtaining consultation from other clinic providers or health care professionals, and supervising patient care and support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of individual patients
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Supervise patient care and support staff to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a primary care provider. You must also have a medical license from the State of Idaho and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Inc. (NCCPA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, DEA, and State of Idaho Controlled Substance Registration numbers are also required.
You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
