Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Teaching Assistant to join our team at Monarch Center for Autism. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with Intervention Specialists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals to provide high-quality support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of lesson plans and curriculum that align with IEP and/or ISP goals and objectives.
  • Help to create and implement visual supports and instructional materials to enhance student learning.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and organize daily activities that optimize treatment and promote student engagement.
  • Contribute to clinical records and documentation, including data collection and analysis.
  • Provide individualized support to students in various settings and capacities.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Psychology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Special Education.
  • Experience working with children with autism is helpful, but training will be provided.
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the lives of students with autism.
