As a Medical Support Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks, including preparing patients for procedures, transporting patients, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist patients with mobility issues, provide basic life support, and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Treatment Area Maintenance: Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by performing tasks such as cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and disposing of biohazard waste
  • Clerical Duties: Answer phones, take messages, and perform data entry tasks as needed
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience
  • Experience: Less than 1 year 6 months related experience required; one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPR certification (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
  • Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer skills preferred; verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: This position has a hiring range of $17.50 - $28.73 per hour.
