Job Summary

The Medicus Firm is seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon to join our esteemed client's team in Central Texas. As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiovascular surgeries and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a high volume of cardiovascular surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgery
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Practice Details

This opportunity offers a robust cardiovascular practice with an established service line and immediate referral structure. You will have the opportunity to perform 1-3 surgeries per day with block scheduling and work in a state-of-the-art facility with 5 clinic exam rooms.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $850,000 base salary + bonus potential
  • Sign-on bonus, CME allowance, PTO, and more great benefits

Requirements

  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas
