Position Summary:

As a Breakfast Host/Hostess at Summit Hospitality Group, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality complimentary breakfast each morning, adhering to the brand's established standards and protocols. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to efficient service, cost management, and waste reduction. You will embody the core values of Summit Hospitality Group, where "Service is the Ultimate Amenity".

Key Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a hospitality setting, preferably with major brands such as Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly train team members.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory management and waste control.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Arrive at the workplace early to prepare for breakfast service, typically around 4:00 am or 5:00 am.
  • Prepare various types of coffee and stock coffee stations with necessary supplies.
  • Heat and present hot food items, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Set up a variety of breakfast items, including baked goods, cold dishes, and beverages.
  • Monitor food levels throughout the service and refresh items as needed.
  • Engage with guests during their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
  • Clean and reset the breakfast area post-service, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Receive and verify food deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Follow the guidance of your supervisor and complete required training.
Work Environment:
  • Flexible schedule with early morning and weekend shifts.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing between 30-50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing duties as required.
