We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Roca Tile USA. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling high-quality ceramic and porcelain tile to architects, designers, contractors, and developers in the multi-family residential, hospitality, retail, educational, government, corporate, healthcare, and commercial construction segments.
Key Responsibilities- Specification of product to project designs, mostly through A&D and follow-up to ensure products are delivered and invoiced to final purchasing customers.
- Cooperation with designated customer service, logistics, marketing, and other departments to communicate and coordinate information for successful delivery.
- Open new A&D accounts and maintain existing accounts in Downtown Chicago.
- Visit architects, designers, contractors, and developers, make presentations to specify Roca Tile products, deliver samples, and produce specific materials for presentations if needed.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals.
- Manage customer relationships by resolving client concerns, ensuring customers are set up in the system, provide presentations, marketing materials, samples, price quotes, and schedule weekly visits.
- Collaborate with staff across the organization to accomplish goals.
- Travel and attend trade shows.
- At least three years of experience in sales, preferably in Architect & Design Sales, porcelain, and ceramic experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business or design-related field preferred.
- Interior Design interest.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and resilience.
- The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
