Objective:

The Educational Systems Analyst is tasked with overseeing and managing educational or training services within formal education and training programs, aligning with customer and program goals under the guidance of a Project Lead. Preferred candidates should be located in the vicinity of Pensacola, FL, to be eligible for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

Key duties encompass:
  • Administering, supervising, advising on, designing, developing, or delivering educational or training services in formal educational or training settings;
  • Possessing knowledge of learning theories along with the principles, methods, practices, and techniques relevant to one or more areas within the instructional systems domain;
  • Potentially requiring expertise in specific subjects or fields where educational or training instruction is delivered;
  • Demonstrating experience with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) model for creating new or revised instructional materials;
  • Selecting appropriate instructional media, materials, and equipment to effectively meet learning objectives;
  • Planning and executing the production of all instructional materials;
  • Identifying connections between training deficiencies and necessary modifications to the training system;
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Employment Status:

Full-time (40 hours per week). Salaried. Exempt.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional System Design/Analysis or a related technical field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional systems analysis, design, and development;
  • Active and capable of maintaining a minimum "Secret" level security clearance;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to read, interpret, organize, and synthesize source material into clear, concise learning products;
  • Proficient with the Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) II;
  • Ability to apply Integrated Learning Environment (ILE), ILT, and IMI principles and guidelines for the design and development of training products;
  • Familiarity with learning theories such as:
    • ISD-Instructional System Design (ADDIE or similar)
    • Bloom's Taxonomy
    • Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction
    • Collaborative Constructivist Learning
    • Problem-based Learning
    • Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning
    • Discovery Learning
  • Willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of military terminology.
Work Environment and Travel:
  • This position is situated at a military training facility. Preferred candidates should be local to the Pensacola area to be considered for this role.
  • Ability to lift items and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. on limited occasions.
  • Anticipated travel up to 10%.
