The Center For Discovery is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the dietary component of our treatment program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized dietary meal plans for patients, including conducting weekly calorie counts and monitoring progress.
- Conduct dietary intake assessments on admission and complete documentation on client progress throughout treatment.
- Facilitate nutrition groups and implement dietary treatment plans for each client within a week of admission.
- Communicate with referring and outpatient treatment teams, as well as with medical and psychiatric staff, as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dietary Services to ensure high-quality nutrition and dietary services.
- Enforce dietary program policies and provide education to clients on healthy food choices.
- Participate in on-call rotation and be available for family sessions and education, as needed.
- Registered Dietitian licensure and certification.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
