Day School Caregiver

Sugarbush Resort is seeking a qualified Day School Caregiver to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate daycare program for children aged 6 weeks-6 years.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily activities to meet the needs of the children.
- Ensure the development and safety of the children in accordance with relevant federal, state, and local legislation and policies.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable in.
- Implement positive discipline when needed.
- Clearly and effectively communicate with the children and other staff members.
Requirements:
- High school education or a combination of education and experience from which equal skills and knowledge are acquired.
- Three references in childcare.
- One completed course in Early Childhood or Human/Child Development and at least 1-year experience in a childcare center.
- Specialized skills in some form of activity applicable to children's interest and the school's programming.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
