About the Position
A leading healthcare organization in the northeastern region of North Carolina is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join their medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient and inpatient setting
- Perform general bread and butter procedures, with the ability to do ERCP/EUS procedures preferred but not required
- Manage a moderate to high-volume caseload, with 15-20 consults in the inpatient setting and 12-15 consults in the outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
