Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac and pulmonary care, applying knowledge to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
- At least one year of experience in a cardiac or pulmonary care setting.
- Competent in BLS and/or other specialized life support certifications as required by department.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
