Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Circle K. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer complaints, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including creating displays and arranging merchandise to meet sales goals.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting cash, making change, and securing the store.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and meeting sales goals. The store environment is clean and organized, with a focus on maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

The physical demands of this position include standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 pounds, and bending and twisting to restock shelves and perform other duties. The work environment is climate-controlled, with a focus on maintaining a comfortable temperature and humidity level.
