Patient Care Associate in Training

About the Job
The Nursing Assistant Trainee will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to provide personal care to clients and assist with activities of daily living. This role requires a high level of compassion and empathy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, and obtaining vital signs
- Assist clients with meals and snacks and provide water and nutritional supplements as appropriate
- Assist with housekeeping, laundry services, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
