Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple insurance lines, which entails collecting data for renewal applications, handling premium payments, and initiating new insurance lines.
- Facilitate the timely submission of insurance claim notifications to relevant carriers and manage insurance certification responsibilities.
- Act as the primary contact between the hospital, brokers, and claims adjusters.
- Support the management of ongoing claims related to various insurance types, including professional and general liability.
- Assist with claims processing, investigations, discovery, file management, and litigation support.
- Provide support to both insurance and claims management teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in legal or healthcare settings is required, with a preference for candidates with approximately 5 years of experience in Casualty Commercial Insurance.
