Position Summary:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a software engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience in the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software systems and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS technologies (ECS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, CDK/CloudFormation).
  • In-depth understanding of various web technologies (including web applications, services, and architectures).
  • Experience with AWS Cloud deployment and GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as ELK Stack, Google Analytics, or AppDynamics.
  • Proficient in unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
  • Strong backend development skills, particularly in REST and Pub/Sub Messaging applications.
  • Experience working within high-performance teams in an agile development environment emphasizing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle frameworks.
  • Understanding of security principles and familiarity with code scanning tools like SonarQube, Veracode, or Wiz.
  • Exhibit knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, software packaging, and release management.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
