About The Rudder Restaurant

The Rudder Restaurant, a renowned dining establishment, is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food products are prepared and presented to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food products according to established methods and recipes.
  • Ensure that all food procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Follow all sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare ingredients and food products in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the demands of a high-volume restaurant.
  • Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, demonstrating a strong understanding of culinary principles and practices.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role at an upscale high-volume establishment with a focus on French/Italian cuisine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
  • Availability to work weekends, days, and evenings, as well as flexibility to meet the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment.
