CEI Inspector

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking a skilled CEI Inspector to support our projects in Florida. As a CEI Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction activities meet specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily inspections of asphalt, concrete, and earthwork to ensure compliance with client and contractor requirements.
- Perform engineering inspections, including construction observation and field sampling, to verify material quality and conformance to specifications.
- Record daily notes and provide updates to engineering staff to ensure seamless project execution.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- EIT with a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management desired.
- Two years of experience in construction inspection, with a minimum of one year of bridge and/or roadway construction experience desired.
- Must possess the following certifications: CTQP Final Estimates Level I, CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I, CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I, CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, FDOT Intermediate MOT, Nuclear Radiation Safety, and Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds, frequent travel, and the ability to work in various weather conditions, including heights, uneven terrain, and highway traffic.
Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required, compensated according to company policy.
