Automation Assembly Specialist

Micromatic is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for introducing assembly processes on automation projects, working closely with senior assemblers, and performing assembly work with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with senior assemblers to perform assembly work on automation projects to print specifications
- Collaborate with project team members to complete work on time and under budget
- Perform plumbing (hydraulic, pneumatic, or lube) to print specifications
- Use precision equipment/tools as required and assist in the build of automation equipment
- Participate in debug and customer runoff activities of automation equipment
- Participate in project/floor meetings and assist in maintaining the whiteboard issues list
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid math background and skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of the machinability of metals
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of geometric tolerances
- Minimum two years of machining background
- Skills in the use of precision hand tools and measuring equipment
- Machine/equipment set up experience preferred, but not required
