Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at a renowned acute care magnet medical center in Belleville, IL.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to work in our dynamic cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting and be proficient in cardiac catheterization, PCI, atherectomy, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, PACS, and EPIC.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, and left and right heart catheterizations.
  • Assist with electrophysiology studies, including arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and cardiac ablation.
  • Participate in abdominal and pelvic procedures, including angioplasty and embolization.
  • Conduct vascular studies and procedures, including angioplasty and upper and lower extremity angiography.
  • Provide venous access, including central venous access and port placement.
Requirements:
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ARRT-CI or CCI-RCIS.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
  • Proficiency in cardiac catheterization, PCI, atherectomy, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, PACS, and EPIC.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with 4x10 hour day shifts, with some evening, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage required. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
