Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech PRN Days to join our team at Tenet Health. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in preparing operating rooms for surgery and providing technical services to support our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Provide technical services and assist in other areas as assigned and directed.
  • Assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performance of routine and delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.
  • Perform scrub duties and related procedures and provide assistance in emergency procedures as well as scheduled and emergency cases.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent GED for all current employees. Completion of formal ORT program for all new hires.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in operative procedures, equipment and instrumentation.
  • One year of hospital/surgical background or experience.
  • CPR certification.
